RollTurntm: Cost Saving, Safe, Silent and Small!
In the past, web printing pioneers turned to grater rolls in order to lead undried or uncured printed webs to dryers. This largely met printers' needs, but printers paid a price: cleaning is more difficult with grater rolls and crew safety is compromised. Additionally, pin-point marking prevented grater rolls from being a full solution for the printer with heavy coverage and demanding customers.
In order to completely eliminate even pin-point marking, the air-cushioned fulcrum became the solution of choice. But the space required, capital cost, energy cost, noise and web handling issues cannot be overlooked.
3P introduces
RollTurntm, the “safe, silent and small” solution for
leading “wet” webs to the dryer. These lead rolls with their
proprietary Repelltm surface eliminate marking of “wet”
webs, eliminate energy cost, eliminate noise, and increase crew
safety and eliminate the nuisance of dealing with hide-ripping
grater material. These rolls are much smaller than “cylinder size”
grater rolls and are easily installed in any positions where web
turns are required.

RollTurntm's special surface with Repelltm, a non-stick coating, can operate in heavy production for up to a week without cleaning. Cleaning is simple and safe using natural or plastic bristle brushes and solvent.
Caution:
RollTurnstm with Repelltm surface must never be cleaned or scraped with metal brushes or pads. Using metal brushes, pads or other hard objects will damage the Repelltm surface and void the money back guarantee. Only natural or plastic brushes or pads should be used.
